Spirit Week

My big Max had Spirit Week at school this week.
OF COURSE I was all excited,
You all know how much I love this stuff
(it's like Halloween in April!)
So yeah, my kid may have been the most dressed up one,
but he looked awesome!
(I am still confused why the teachers weren't dressed up....)
BACKWARDS DAY:

NERD DAY:

The food on his face is part of his costume....ha ha

50's DAY:

(so, they said to ask your grandparents what to wear... but Max's grandparents weren't even born yet! Good thing we have Grama Pat and the movie Grease)

Of course- he HAD to have a tattoo to match Grampa Dan's

He is such a bad ass!

Ah....Sunday

What a fun Sunday this has been,
Max helped me weed and plant a bunch of flowers in the front yard.
He is so good at this stuff,
I love his creative mind!
My Jacky was enjoying the sunshine!
He is a little obsessed with superheroes....

Max find a tiny worm and we named it Wormy

Oh, I wanna relax in the sun forever....

And where is Matt, may you ask?
He is installing our new FRONT DOOR!
Oh, I can't tell you how happy I am to see that old, squeaky door go bye-bye.
We also bought a new backdoor- no more ugly,painted iron! YES!

Zoo Day

Yay, I have been waiting for a warm zoo day!
I am so glad Jen had the idea to go yesterday.
It was beautiful and perfect weather,
SO many animals were active!
(Side note: Jack cannot smile when he is wearing his Batman glass- he is WAY too cool to smile)

Cabin Hike 2010

I can't believe we braved the Cabin hike again.

Last year, it kicked our butts!

But this year- we had WAY more help and STRONGER bodies :)

It was almost too easy....

But, it was beautiful!!

This definitely has to be an annual tradition!

Another funny story,

I was walking along and SUNK,

I realized I was continuing to sink and called for help,

Blade came to rescue me and completely sunk in the hole below me!

Ty, Whit, and Beth helped us out,

And we found a 5 foot sink hole!

SO WEIRD!!

I guess we will investigate further in the spring...

I am just so glad that no one got hurt!!
