Happy Birthday my big MAX

It's Max's birthday today. He woke up and our conversation went like this:
Mom: Happy Birthday Max! You're 5!
Max: I'm 5?! Today?!
Mom: Yeah!!

A little bit later in the bath...
Max: I'm so excited to go to school!
Mom: Yeah! But even though you are 5 now, school doesn't start for awhile. You have to wait a few months.
Max: You mean like I have to wait for the bus?

Oh he is sweet.

Max's SPOOKY Birthday Party

Max is my mini-me, so of course he lives for Halloween. He is so lucky that his bday is in October! We had so much fun on Saturday. Max's cousins Ryan, Brooky, Ambree, Zach, Jessi, Kayden, Andrew, and Luke- and his friends Halee and Vance came. Along with grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, and uncles! It was quite a party!

Yes, I made this cake and it is AWESOME. The inside was BLOOD red

We had a pumpkin decorating contest- Ambree was the winner! A don't-use-your-hands Donut eating contest, poor Jack tried, but the donut smacked him in the face! Andrew won!

We must've done a good job on the scary decorations cause Ryan wouldn't even come in the house, hee hee.

The GROSS-out game- my favorite was the skin (slices of tofu)..... Pin-the-Nose on the Pumpkin...Zach was the winner!! Singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Max!
We had a Awards ceremony for all the costumes, and the kids won a special trophy. Ambree was so excited because she has never won a trophy before! Miss Halee's the witch won BEST costume!
Here are the kiddos in their cool costumes....

Max enjoying all of his millions of presents...

No one loves Halloween more than our SPOOKY family

Thanks so much for coming everyone! Max had so much fun and got some AWESOME presents!!

The Witches at Gardner Village

What a BEAUTIFUL day! We take the kiddos to see the Witches every year, and of course have to stop at the old fashioned candy shop. Grama Pat buys all of her young (and not so young) grandkids a treat! I love the caramel apples!! Jack loved being apart of the big kid group :)
