1st Grade

Wait, what?
I have a first grader?
Uh......I remember being nervous about his first day of Kindergarten,
and now it's long past, and here I am-
trying to blog to pass the time while Max is gone ALL DAY.
Me, Jack, and Nellie are so bored!
Jack has asked at least 10 times today- "Where is Max?"
This morning he made sure tell me that he is big enough to walk to his line-up. alone.
(hint, hint mom- stay by the car, I've got it!)
I reluctantly agreed and stood by the fence till I saw him walk inside.
Man, I tell ya- I am SO proud of this boy

He has so much passion for learning,
I could never ask for a better kid.
Plus the fact- MAN HE IS GOOD LOOKING!
Am I right? Or am I right?

The night before school started,
Max requested a special feast:
Cocktail shrimp
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Mac and Cheese
Red Cream Soda
PB cup ice cream with ALL the fixings
Especially fresh raspberries
It was awesome

Annual Pool Party

We had a pool party at Grama Mary's to celebrate all the August Bdays!
Ok, lemme see if I can get them ALL down:
Mom, Matty, Park, Ty, Nick, Chase, Nichole, Travis, Wendy.....
And on my other sides of the family:
Dad, Patti, Donald, Jessie F, Shae, Grama Dottie........
Did I get everyone?
Probably not, heh heh heh.

Yay for turning 26 and getting another tattoo!
Alright, I am a little obsessed right now,
but I can't help it if I find the PERFECT one!
Rule #1 for getting tattoos: they have to be pretty

(And PS, it's a good thing that she turned out pretty, because she hurt hard. WAY hard. Kind of like lighting my foot on fire, then dragging knives down it- no biggie, it's over right?)

1st Grade Stud

First of all- when did Max get so old?
Second of all- DAMN HE IS HANDSOME!
And he has such good taste- check out his new school clothes.

Finally

We FINALLY made it up to the Cabin this summer
AH....I missed it so much
We were unable to go camping like we had planned, but we had to escape for a mini trip.

The Best is Yet to Come

We went to the Scorpions concert last night
With Jackal and Tesla
It was so awesome,
a much needed break from real life-
especially for Park.
We laughed while Matt and Park danced with strangers,
We screamed and yelled for the awesome music,
We pretended we didn't know Matt when he high-fived everyone he didn't know,
We oohed and awed at all the drunk, old, skin-tight wearing fools around us,
(see the "lady in red" above- ah....yeah Matt asked to take her picture)
We realized the fools around us were also laughing at us (us fools that is),
We peed our pants when Matt accidentally went in the woman's bathroom and got beat-up and yelled at by a woman while he was trying to pee,
We had FUN.
And me, Park, and my Dad had a special cheers to the song:
"The Best is Yet to Come"
Yes, it is.

I need to play a little catch up...

1. Linda told us to shave Andrew's hair, so we did...

2. We saw the sky transform into cotton candy

3. While my dad and Beth were away- my other brothers (aka Smokee and Ace) got to spend the week with us!


4. My boys LOOOOOOVe their Daddy

5. My sweet Momma had her birthday party in Park City
6. The boys got their faces painted....again
7. Park hung out with us (shocking I know!)
8. We said good-bye to Sam and JM...... for 2 months anyways
9. We wished we had stayed, partied, and had beer for breakfast with these folks
10. We decorated my dad and Beth's house with all of your and our LOVE
Thank you a million times to everyone that helped!!
(My dad is married!!!! OMG!)
11. We went to a beautiful wedding, and Max looked more than STUDly
12. I realized I couldn't survive at work without this girl
13. I put all my pics together for the Utah State Fair!
