heh heh heh
That is what happens when I don't blog all month long!
(hence all the pictures and busyness)
ENJOY!
To start off the season, we took Max to FRIGHTMARES!
(it was like heaven!)
This one............was so freaking funny that I didn't even realize Max's buddy Taylor had run and hid and was bawling.... wooops
Little Jacky couldn't come this year, so he spent the night with Grampa and Grama Beth,
We broke 2 records this year:
1. The cops were called for the first time! And they were so nice! ha ha
2. We had over 100 people come........100!!!
(just a reminder that my house is 1200 sq. ft. nuff said)
Matt and I were Dr. Frank N Furter and Magenta from Rocky Horror Picture Show
Favorites?
Pee Wee Herman and Chairy,
Gomez and (sexy, pregnant) Morticia Addams,
Richard Simmons and his work out, sweatin' ladie,s
Step Brothers,
the crew from 300 (Park's especially, his was perfect!!),
the crew from Sucker Punch,
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,
Male and Female versions of Black Swan,
a cute little happy clown,
and so, so many more.
Another fabulous year came and went so fast!
Next year, I think we need to find a warehouse to rent........
A week after our 100 person bash,
we got to have a Kid Costume Party for Max's birthday!
Here are the invitations we made (they.took.hours.)
Our family LOVES HALLOWEEN!
The boys' costumes.............aren't they incredible???
Our family LOVES HALLOWEEN!I was a little weary about Jacky being Freddy Krueger, but DANG he is a cute, scary man!
And, Max, wow that kid looked amazing!
The kiddos did an AWESOME job with their costumes too!
We had a costume contest (Ava won BEST with her Princess Fiona costume!)
Mask making, pinata, donut eating contest (Jessie won!), and the gross out game.
Max loved having all of his favorite friends over,
and he really loved all the presents.
He got comic book money and just went crazy at the store!
I just love how original my big man is!!

Grama Roni made the cooooolest Alien Cake,
and Grampa Dan and Grama Beth brought the spider pinata and pizza!
Thanks you guys!!! SO much!
And, thank you to everyone that came!
(and to everyone that couldn't, I knew you wanted to be here, we love you!)
That same night, Grama Mary threw a WITCHES party
We made witchy treats (girls only!), dressed up in our fanciest witch costumes,
and headed to Witches Night Out at Gardner Village
Our big MAX officially turned 8 years old on Oct. 19!
We surprised him with spooky balloons and loads of presents.
He got a new Nintendo 3DS which is AMAZING! It is 3D! No glasses needed!
Man, toys are so much cooler now!!
(good thing I have kids so I still get to buy them! But, I still want an excuse to buy dolls....)
*pinkalicious thoughts, pinkalicious thoughts*
We took Max out to eat SUSHI (his favorite)
"Best birthday ever"
We carved pumpkinsc3 times! Kryger's, our house, Grampa's
Yum, yum, I love the smell of candles in pumpkins!!!
Best pumpkin?
Max's pinhead, Grampa's Smokee, Park's Portal, and Matt's stem nose
Deb threw her annual Trunk R Treat for Grama Pat's birthday,
it was a BEAUTIFUL day and the kids had so much fun.
Deb had all the traditional games and treats for the spooky kiddos.
The best part? I felt like the family hadn't interacted with each other so much in years.
It felt so good to REALLY hang out with my cousins!
That needs to happen more often.
*thinking of you guys! prayers everyday*
The day after Grama Pat's birthday (and now Norah's birthday too)
We went to our annual visit to see the Gardner Village Witches.
THIS is one of my favorite traditions.
The kids go crazy picking out treats, playing together,
and checking out each fat-bottomed witch.
I feel so lucky to be apart of a family that like being together so much!
Finally,
HALLOWEEN DAY
We started off the day at Max's school parade.
The costumes......oh WOW were they creative!!!
I wish I was on the ball like last year and had video taped them all,
but I just got a short clip of 2nd grade.
There was a Mcdonald's Happy Meal walking around, who does that?
Someone awesome, that's who!
I am so glad that Max is in a school that has parents who participate and CARE
Oh, work.............
Yes, we decided to dress up like 80's rockstars.
Me? I was Slash from Gun's 'N Roses
I had like every 40 year old man yelling ROCK ON to me
ha ha ha, it was awesome.
Our patients might have been a little confused when their doctor walked in with make-up or a giant mullet, but that makes it fun!
(PS no, Jean is NOT Sam Kinison.....she is Stevie Nicks! bahahaha)
We raced home after work and got the boys in their costumes,
then headed over to Grampa and Grama Beth's house for chili and Trick-or-Treating
The boys had so much fun,
but after an hour or so Jacky said "I don't want any more candy!"
Then, we were done.
(this is what Max sang at every.single.house. Andrew taught him, surprised? ha ha)
