EXACTLY a year after Jacky spent 5 days at PCMC,
He got sick again.
Not even close to as bad, but we wanted to make sure and be proactive this time and stop the sickness before it got worse!
He had a chest x ray that ruled out pneumonia, but showed bronchial cuffing which is congestion in the lungs that is normal for an asthmatic.
Lot's of oral steroids, neb treatments, Delsym, ibuprofen, and tylenol later.....
(and a nap with Frank)
He woke up this morning, still wheezy and crackly, but HAPPY!
He loves doing his treatments, and sits like a good boy.
He always asks me to "kiss me on the lips" while he is doing it,
so I have to kiss his mask REAL hard
Damn Asthma!
But, yay for getting better FAST!

Hopefully, Just like his Momma, he will outgrow this.
